The Usual Fine Print
I’m Holly Gray. Don’t Call Me Sybil is my website. I am the author of all content, except where otherwise noted. I am not and have never been a clinician of any kind. Nothing I publish is intended to constitute advice or counsel and should not be taken as such. What I write here reflects my personal experiences and thoughts and is not intended to malign any religion, ethnic group, club, organization, company, or individual. All comments are solely the responsibility of their respective writers.
Furthermore …
As a public blogger I accept and adhere to the following ground rules:
- Public means public. Anyone may read the content I publish here at Don’t Call Me Sybil. If you choose to comment, you are also publicly publishing content. Keep in mind, therefore, that anyone may read your comments too.
- Readers have the right to express their opinions. If my sense of personal truth about a topic is so fragile that disagreement has the power to destabilize it, I don’t publish on that topic. By all means, speak your mind.
- I take ownership of my words, not how they are received. Though my intent is not to be controversial, my perspectives are often exactly that. I have faith in your capacity to discern for yourself whether my blog is safe reading for you or not.
It’s also worth noting that my viewpoints aren’t static but evolve over time as a result of my continuing education and life experiences. I know, change is hard.

I just found your blog and really like it. Wanted to say thanks for putting yourself out there — and in such an articulate and thoughtfull way. Just wanted to say that, I never usually do. It’s inspiring. Elisabeth
Thank you, Elisabeth. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this with me. I wouldn’t have the courage to keep writing if it weren’t for feedback like this now and then.
