There were rough spots, sure. My partner and I split up, I’ve had some health problems, and I’m feeling pretty directionless. But the beauty of an unraveled sweater is the opportunity to knit something new, something different, something that fits better now. And as I was going through photos taken throughout 2012, I could see by the moments I chose to save that, all in all, it was a very good year.
